A great dish to take to a gathering. Good smooth flavor to please picky eaters.  The chips give a crunch gives an exciting texture to separate this dish from more bland offerings.

Wild persimmons were substituted for pumpkin to give a very different taste to this traditional recipe.

A spicy and hearty cornbread makes a great accessory to many meals.
